- Never use 3 week old gas that has been sitting in your garage, Go out and get 91 gas when you are going to use your equipment.
- Maker sure that your air filter is clean along with spark plug, and always change the two at the same time.
- Use brand name oil when you change your equipment's oil or add for 2 stroke. Their is a reason why they are more expensive, but it will save you money in the long run.
- When you run your equipment, run it til it is dry. Meaning no gas in its tank.

Here at C & L Lawn Mower Shop we always see customers come in with Equipment that is mostly used once a year. For starters is one big reason why it fails when is time to use, but here is a tip that will help you in the long run. When you run your equipment chances are you leave it with gas inside the tank. The longer you leave your equipment sitting in a corner with the gas inside the tank, gas begin to evaporate. We have found that 87 Gas contains a lot of moisture thus resulting in rust or a forms of film on the inside of the carburetor. So what could you do?
